It is a story.

She is not real. She is a character in an ongoing "real life" series (they're all the rage in Korea. Kind of like reality TV, except with actors playing characters) that is slated to end this year.

I'm not sure that OP will get a reveal one way or the other, however. Li has not shown much interest toward individuals of either gender, and her orientation is hardly the focus of the series.

OP here. Chris is a real person, she's not Korean, and she's a pop singer. I was rather amused by the troll above though. One of the few interesting, funny trolls that made my day.
