8. For short, no. You shouldn't have to feel that way. I've been a Christian for 5 years and in fandom for about 8, and though I struggle with fandom because of my religion, I refuse to give either of them up.

The only reason why I was iffy is because I've met people IRL who actually think it's a valid argument, but it still made me laugh, so :)
