There's a ritual associated. The curtains part, as it were, and the butterfly makes its way towards daylight and freedom. There's singing.

I'm imagining in some universe where cunt butterflies are a thing, there's a whole ceremony devoted to the releasing of the cunt butterflies. People bring their kiddos to the yearly Cunt Butterfly festival. They eat cotton candy and watch the lucky women who can gestate cunt caterpillars open their legs and let the butterflies free. It's beautiful.
