Making up something just to make people fight, like how you were in a WoT commune that made everybody sniff and smooth skirts and you had to tug on your braid until you went traumatically bald = trolling
Stating a strong and possibly argumentative opinion = not trolling

Predicting that people on FS are going to fight about something isn't much of a prognosticative leap. It's still a perfectly plausible honest opinion.

Man that WOULD be a great ending for the series. Just Nynaeve or something sitting back with a margarita.

In my book, saying something for the purpose of causing an argument is still trolling even if you believe it. Different definitions, though, I guess.

so, people who believe something but know if they state it will cause an argument should just STFU and GTFO because it will be labeled as trolling, even if their intent isn't to troll but still knowing their opinion is going to be disagreed with?

YEAH. LET'S ALL AGREE ON EVERYTHING. THE WORLD IS SO MUCH SAFER THAT WAY especially if they all agree with me!!!!

Saying something for the purpose of causing an argument isn't the same as stating an opinion and anticipating that it will start an argument, though, especially in a community where a lot of people have a lot of opinions.

How is it trolling? The OP wasn't going to start the argument or even contribute to it. He/she just expressed anticipation for the inevitable wank.
