you're just tweaking your arguments around to be "right"
temporary =/= permanent
And there's a LIMIT to everything. Where do you stop if you just say, the more I'm "displeased" the more you have to suffer? You put harm them. Punishment shouldn't be REVENGE. Parents who disregard these limits will go further.

All of those things are permanent and not temporary. Just because the computer still exists somewhere doesn't mean it's not.
