I ship them, but I don't ship them in a "visual" way.
I mean, I don't get off to Legolas/Gimli porn or porn fic, but I think they are made for each other and I really enjoy fluffy fanarts/fanfics of them.

That being said, I don't think movie!Legolas is hot. Sure, he's a good lookng guy, but have you seen musical!Legolas? DAYUM.
Musical!Legolas is hot stuff and would look much better with any Gimli (if I was into porn of the two of them).

PS: no offense to people who think movie!Legolas/Gimli is hot. I can totally see where you're coming from. It's just not what turns me on.

I'm also guilty of this. And Lee Pace as Thranduil.
Lee!Thranduil also creeped me out for some reason.

Thranduil makes me laugh for different reasons. Legolas just looks goofy. Thranduil looks ~*~GLAMOROUS~*~.

Thranduil creeping you out means Lee Pace is doing his job right. Elves are not human creatures and they're meant to be at least a little bit unsettling. He's the only one apart from Galadriel who is perfect about that bit.

Also check out the other photos from the show, there might be more pics of him.
I just think the "war paint" and the different hair make him look so much more dashing. That's just my personal opinion, though.
There are many people who don't like this incarnation of the character.

Same for me - love the idea, not crazy about the look. I really like fanart of them being ultimate bros, though.
