1. GO is already full of batshit crazy shippers, and no matter who they cast, as long as they are attractive-- and they will be, because that's how movies work-- the shipping is going to get even crazier.

2. All this hype backlash against the book is making me sad. Remember when we all agreed that it was an amazing book, you guys? Remember?? It was like a couple weeks ago ;_;

I still find the book awesome! And I don't care about casting or shipping or anything really. So we can sit in a corner together being all sad and lonely!

I'll join you in the lonely corner. No, GO isn't high art, but it's damned entertaining. I don't really ship A/C (or C/A or whatever); I much prefer Crowley to Aziraphale, and I think the scenes with the kids were my favorites.

Here to agree with everything you just said, down to the scenes with the kids. That poetically written ending scene gets me every time.
