your inability to navigate tumblr does not equate general difficulty of use.

for people casually in fandom, maybe it's not ideal. For those with their pulse of popular fandoms, it's great.

Your poor experience does not negate the fact that other people are having engaging, in-depth conversations about the series you love. You're just missing out on it all.

NA

I like Tumblr pretty well but have never even seen a discussion there that went past a few lines of reblogging.

Or rather, when I have seen something that I think might have been a larger discussion, it was so scattered, disjointed, and broken that I could not follow any of it.

I'm hearing that in some kind of 80's valley girl voice: "It's great if you're not a LOSER! Cool people get Tumblr. Loser."

I'm wondering if anyone can link us up with one of these 'engaging, in-depth conversations'.

I've yet to see anyone offer up some kind of proof it exists.

I'm starting to wonder if this is just one arrogant anon who thinks that a whole bunch of people not being able to use a site doesn't mean the site has a bad user interface but HAS to mean that all the people are just a bunch of dumb fucks.

Statistically speaking, it's far more likely that the site just has a bad user interface. Which it does.
