I saw a gifset for SPN on Tumblr that had a fan asking Jensen Ackles (Dean) what he would do for a Klondike Bar. Innocent at first and when he turned the question back to the fan, she replied "You.". I don't think I've ever been so offended for someone else in my life. The man is married and expecting his first kid, for chrissakes. His character would have been fine with such a thing, but not the man himself. There's also a lot of "We're not our characters" statements from the actors, something I feel some people don't seem to get. I feel like actors today should get awards for even bothering with their fanbases.
