Strangely enough, I'm in support of them more in the aftermath of The Hobbit than I was back in my LotR days. Maybe it's the favourable light dwarves have been given, what with the hotness of the Durin line.

And yes, I'm well aware I'm totally shallow for only coming to appreciate dwarves because PJ made them hot (well, some of them).
