Shiiiit, Noh-Varr is in that comic? I feel like I have to give it a try now, but... I loved the original Noh-Varr -- and have been consistently frustrated with what they've been doing with the character after the initial mini-series, so I dunno >:\

He is! Gillen took his old personality and grew him up a bit. He's kind of a hipster now but it works well for the character.

And Loki rapes Billy as he screams at him that it's all billy's fault Teddy's parents are dead and that's what he really subconsciously wanted because he hated that Teddy had parents that were alive.

Dude have you BEEN to v. 1 YA fandom, it is literally all of that. I'm excited for this run for more than just the fandom porn, but hell yeah to all of this. Sadly I feel there'll just be a lot of slut-shaming and woobiness and angsting instead.

Isn't there already a good bit of porn? I'm not heavily involved in the fandom, but I remember running across a good deal of porn a while back. Granted, that was before the first issue came out and none of it involved the new team-members, but I'm sure it'll pop up; you've just got to give it time.

The tumblr tag for YAY is full of people complaining about the 1st issue bc Kate had a one night stand and that's weird or there's too much teen drama a blaaaah it's dumb

Eh, Kate can do whatever the hell she wants; it's her body. It wasn't even that big a deal. I personally hope Eli shows up at some point and those two get back together, but this is only the first issue...who knows where the comic will go from here.

As for 'too much teen drama'...there was always teen drama involved, and again, it's only the beginning.
