You know, I haven't watched an episode since I gave up after the first episode of season 7. I keep meaning to pick it back up because 8 actually sounds good, but I can't bring myself to watch enough of season 7 to know what is going on.

I approve of this secret, though. Personally I watch SPN for the plot as well as for the shipping and the hotness of Dean. Oh, and the guest stars because some of the minor characters are amazing.

I feel the same about Harry Potter, and Stargate Atlantis...I mean, i makes sense. IF a movie/show is complete and perfect, why would anyone need to write fic? It's the ones with potential, with things that weren't explored properly, that make people want to write.

The only thing you need to know before watching season 8 is that Dean and Cas ended in Purgatory and there's a new prophet called Kevin and demons are after him.

My friend skipped S7 and went straight to S8. I wish I'd followed her example xD; But she's done just fine and she's enjoying S8 :)
