I like a lot of old fashioned names along with Irish/Gaelic names. I'm also fond of masculine nicknames for girls, like Alex or Jo etc.

I actually keep a list of boys and girls names that I add to whenever I come across one I like. The list is getting pretty long, which is kind of silly since I don't really plan on ever having kids.

Reappropriate them as names for pets or characters! :D I have a lot of names I like that I use for minor characters and whatnot, since my major characters usually have more thought put into their names (though by a happy accident, one of my main characters ended up with one of my favorite names).
