Well, I wouldn't say that's a problem with furries so much as it is a problem with people who don't understand or respect boundaries. I mean, obviously I don't know what happened, but if you're talking about something like pressure to do something sexual, that'd be wrong, regardless of whether the person wanted to wear ears and a tail while doing it.

I'd like to agree, but it's a different level of wrong with the people who are heavily into Furry. Many of them view themselves as being inherently better than people because they identify with animals. And when they're trying to force you into things, it's just "natural instinct" and they can't help it. You're the one who is inferior for resisting and "acting too human."

Psh. Fuck you, Rover. You wanna be an animal, go live naked in the woods - and give up your internet. Computers are a human accomplishment, after all. Douglas Adams notwithstanding, if being animalistic made you superior, than it'd be that animal running the world, not humans. Also, it doesn't matter what their "instincts" are, doesn't mean that your "instincts" are reciprocal - go to the dog park one day and watch one dog get bitten to shit for humping another dog that wasn't into it.

But yeah, end of the day, anyone who pulls an "I can't help it, and you should submit to your true nature which just happens to be doing whatever I want you do" is full of bullshit and not to be trusted, be it in the kink community, sexists, poly, furries, etc.

And this is different from people with noncon, ageplay and other BDSM kinks, how?

Or people with not kinks whatsoever. Lack of respect for boundaries is lack of respect for boundaries, regardless of kinks or sexual orientation.
