I despise my country. There's not a thing I look forward to more than leaving forever.

I also think there's a very, very thin line between patriotism and nationalism, so just seeing other people act overly patriotic makes me really uncomfortable. Also I think it's really screwed up to be proud of where one was born when they had zero control over that. We're all people, being born in a luckier place than someone else doesn't make you better.

...I might be a little bitter.

Oh, and since others have brought sports up:

I cheer against the US in everything. While I cheer for my favorite teams, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter who wins as long as the US loses.

Anon below pointed out the major tiff I have with this country that I neglected to point out as well.
