2. Why the fuck do you care?
As for the first point, "D/s kink" covers a wide range, including pure fantasies that never involve any other participant and don't need safe words, don't need to be consensual, don't need to be realistic, don't need to be HARDCORE etc. -- because they're fantasies. Conversely, fantasies can supplement actual D/s experience while being totally different from that experience. OP could fall into either of these categories, and as her barrister, I'll note that you have no authority in declaring her kink invalid or whatever it is you're trying to do with this bizarre little rant.
As for the second point, that's harder to figure out. But I suspect you care because you're an obnoxious kink hipster. Kipster.
OP
(Anonymous) 2013-01-30 10:19 am (UTC)(link)Kinky D/s fiction does not at all correspond to actual D/s experience. --> It doesn't if we're talking about 50 Shades, but some D/s fiction is written by people actually in the scene.
OP has gotten into D/s fiction --> False assumption. I'm actually into the reality of it, though I'm unable to actually get heavily into it. D/s fiction is not my source of knowledge or interest.
and now thinks that s/he knows everything about being in a D/s relationship. --> I'm sorry I gave you this impression by simply stating that I'm seeing parallels in a series that deals somewhat with trust and power balance between two people. It was hardly my intent to imply that Abe and Mihashi are an accurate representation of D/s relationships - it is, after all, a series that's about baseball and friendship.
I have to ask, are you just a troll? Or are you just so bitter about 50 Shades that you assume that anybody who is getting into BDSM now is a 50 Shades fanbrat? (I have read it, by the way. It's atrocious. But it's not what sparked my interest.)
