Notes:

We're going to be starting something new! Some people have asked for it, and so! The first comment of each entry is going to be a mod comment, asking for anyone to comment with the fandom of the secrets, so that people can have an easy place to go to in order to figure out what a secret is talking about, instead of having people ask multiple times, and sometimes not getting an answer. Today will be the test run of this. Just remember, if you know the fandom of a secret, and it hasn't already been identified, then feel free to help out.

Also, some fandoms are left intentionally vague by the secret-maker in order to protect their identity. We don't have to worry about those. This is more for the secrets that show a picture from a show and the secret is "I love this show" or "I love this pairing" or something similar without actually naming names. The same can go with fanart. If you know who drew the fanart, or the fandom the fanart is from, or both even, please comment! That way we can have a centralized info section!

10. Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait.You obsessively pair two characters from a series that you have seen/played absolutely nothing of? You haven't even watched the damn movie?

Am I the only one who thinks it's completely fucking insane that the FFVII fandom has gotten to a point where this is pretty much considered okay?

I don't care what people say about reading the script and looking at screenshots and reading wikipedia; there is absolutely no substitute for the real thing. Please, do yourself a favor and completely immerse yourself in a series before you ship a pairing from it; otherwise, you're showing immense disrespect towards the very characters you claim to love but don't seem to care enough about to understand.

I totally agree with you. I think anyone can cosplay, they just need to keep it tasteful to their bodytype. Seriously. Fat/Obese people in tight spandex? DO. NOT. WANT. And the same goes with anorexic people were you can see their bones through their costume or something. o_______o

But Otakukin shouldn't be allowed to cosplay, I think. D: It feeds their disillusion.

IAWTC. I think a lot of people misunderstand what "moe" is...my favorite character in Azumanga Daioh is Osaka-chan, and I find her to be a rather moe and funny character. However, that doesn't mean I want to doink her, or that I'm sexually attracted to her. There's a big difference.

2. I find that cosplay is really knowing who you can't pull off - it has nothing to do with weight or anything (I personally find) but when you're build like Matsumoto from Bleach you shouldn't be cosplaying someone like CardCaptor Sakura. But that's just my opinion - but that's because I base my choices on basic body buit - not the weight (and yes, their is a difference) but also looking in the mirror for something like that would be nice O.o;; I didn't need that!!

10. As a hardcore R & R shipper (PLAYED the game, fan since 1997) that kinda really scares me! You can ship them best when you know the little details of their interaction! And fine, you can read the script and see the movie, but you catch on to the little things when you fight against them! The little part, the transition of the characters, please, do yourself and Rude and Reno a favor and go pick up the game. It's worth it, I can guaratee you!

Firstly I'd like to say that after this experience, I will never again write RPF, because this is ridiculously weird and I daresay rude. I'm a person, not a plot device. Yes, you never said who exactly you wrote about, but seriously, does anyone else in this "fandom" ship anything but Case/Shahni? It's not a very difficult leap of logic to make.

My GIRLFRIEND (That's right, MINE not Case's) and good friend think it's creepy that you pair them together when they've mentioned -- repeatedly and vehemently -- that they have no interest in each other like that whatsoever. For proof, go to the first page of comments and find technophile's comment. He's not being facetious there. Every time that a secret like this comes up, both he and shahnichan both state how much this creeps them out. This is different than shipping two characters from a show or a book together -- they're not actually real. What you're doing is taking two people who live and breathe, and are friends, and writing fanfiction about them. And then telling them about it. Can you see how that would be considered a little less than comfortable to them? Sure, people say "I'd love for someone to write fanfiction about me!" but they've never actually experienced it. If it's not an invasion of privacy, it's pretty damn close.

Let's not even touch the lurking in Case's LJ thing. (Also a simple leap of logic, since Shahni's is flocked, mine doesn't have anything of real interest, and Case posts nearly every day in public entries).

I can't tell you to stop writing whatever romantic/friendly/both fantasies you have about them, but I can ask you not to mention it to us, unless you enjoy making people uncomfortable.

I clearly just cannot understand the concept of writing fanfiction about real people at all. We have our own lives, we're real people and have lives and most importantly, we're friends, and the fact that people are DOING this just disturbs me. It's amusing, sure, I'd love to see how I get integrated into a fantasy, but come ON. This is borderline stalking and I'm personally really, REALLY creeped out about the things others may think Case and I are doing.

Just to clarify. I'm dating benightedfate. Case is like my son, in every way possible. I'm not a character, I'm a real person, and for the love of god I hope you're just saying this as a joke, #26.

For a humorous touch, whatever you write about us wouldn't be canon and uh, yeah *SHOT*

And on a serious note, this may have been funny, but I take offense to having my girlfriend being called a plot device. I don't know if you meant it that way, but it does sound very derogatory in this context and I'd like to remind people to RESPECT PEOPLE around here. Oh, and since we're getting personal? Anything that disturbs my best friend and my girlfriend? I'm sorry, I have no sympathy or respect for you. So please, take your fantasies and go. Far, far away. Thank you ♥
