Martin Freeman, probably.

British author, mostly British cast. I could go for more NZ love though. Hell, New Zealand's performance as Middle Earth may be my favorite part of PJ's films.

I was just going to point out that I don't think that movie is actually set in England. But then again, I only visited for, like, 2 months, so they may very well have hobbits hanging out somewhere and I never noticed.

British author and, though it's not obvious in the film, the Hobbits culture is generally very traditionally British. (Also Hobbit-holes were based on where Tolkien was living, you can go there and it is very much like the Shire).

But yeah it's reaching compared to the other two.

Probably bleeding over from the Sherlock fandom because of Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch, I'm guessing.

Hobbit culture is very very English.
