I've been working at my current job for two years, but due to my front end manager up and deciding she wanted me gone, I've decided my time and effort at the job isn't worth giving anymore (it's a very long story, no I can't go to the higher ups, I've never trusted authorities to deal with this kind of thing because the problem is never solved, if anything someone will blab and it'll make the situation horribly worse. I'm just going to admit defeat and duck out, it's not even a stellar job or anything).

I've also decided that I just can't work with the public anymore, or at least, I'd like to avoid it. What I've always wanted was a nice desk job, maybe tucked away in a myriad of cubicles doing largely data input or the like.

But the thing is, I don't know where I'd find a job like that. Does anyone else here have any advice? I'm currently waiting until the vacations I've scheduled are over (I don't want to go about job swapping while juggling vacations), so I'm not in any huge hurry.

If you're in the US, you can try Craigslist, LinkedIn, or Monster. I think there are a few other sites, too, but I don't know of anything outside the States. Craigslist requires some sifting because of scams and whatnot, but I do know that data entry jobs get posted every once in a while.
