Um... what? How was he a Nice Guy? He didn't hate on her for not returning his feelings, he didn't think his best friend was a jackass just because she was with him, he didn't expect sex for being nice. He loved her unrequitedly and knew it wasn't going to go anywhere, because she was in love with Peter (and because that would be betraying Peter), so he kept it to himself and tried his best not to be around her too much, possibly to get over her. She found out by accident. So he let her know how he felt because hey... it's nice to know someone loves you like that. And then he moved on and kept it all friendly.

How on earth is that creepy...
