I totally read (and loved) this fic. I'm sad now that I can't remember the name of it. ::puppy eyes:: Anyone?

Anyway, I don't think it's creepy. It's how Victorians were. Plenty of classic literature has the same basic principles. Heck, even the Professor Layton games (which aren't actually Victorian but...close?) have some elements of the "Victorian gentleman" style.

But to each their own I guess.
