I'm not entirely sure you saw the whole movie. He eventually decided to tell her how he felt as an explanation for the wedding video. He didn't do it in any attempt to win her over from her new husband (his best friend - the REASON he didn't make a move on her before then), and he really doesn't seem bitter or resentful of it.

How is this Nice Guy behavior? I agree that Nice Guys certainly exist out there, but there are also nice guys who don't have their feelings reciprocated. I hate this recent trend in pop culture - suddenly any guy who does any nice or romantic thing for a girl he likes is doing it out of a completely base and crass attempt to get sex? How is this fair? Most women would never be accused of this. What a crappy double standard. It is, in fact, possible for a man to do something nice for a woman that he likes BECAUSE he likes her and wants her to be happy. And when she picks unsuitable dating choices, i.e. men who hurt her or don't care for her, why can't he be angry? I'm angry when my friends make poor relationship choices, whether or not I'm attracted to them.
