1. That really sucks. I hope you feel better soon. Can you get away with wrist-covering sleeves? Out of sight, out of mind?
2. The next time you have to have blood drawn, ask them not to draw it at the wrist. Some nurses might be assholes about it, but a lot of them will try to help. If you don't feel comfortable saying why and they insist on a reason, claim the bandage gets hung up on something.

Unfortunately we're having a really warm winter, so no long sleeves.

It didn't really register what was going on. I thought she was going for the back of my hand at first, and then I was kind of stunned into silence. I didn't know they would try there. I'll remember it for next time, definitely.

DA - Can you wear a watch or a wristband/sweatband over it?

Last time I had a scab there my watchband irritated it but these are smaller spots, so I'll try that. Thanks.
