I'm starting to get the feeling that nowadays any girl that pines after someone is a victim and any guy who does is it a horrible terrible creepy freak. It's like they are sayings guys are creepers for having feelings for someone. and uh that's kinda screwed up.

EXACTLY. But also unsurprising, given the number of people - not necessarily here - who think fandom and all its trappings are meant to be a safe space for women and men can get GTFO.
