AND OP there's nothing wrong with that, I bet the people who are in your fandom love you for it. there's something really nice about people who are willing to spread quality to the small fandoms, I'm telling you. :) PLus the big fish in a small pond thing is a nice bonus.

Here, let me look at my fandoms: Futurama? Huge Tumblr fanbase. Venture Bros? Pretty sizeable one, that. Starkid? Oh my God, positively SATURATED with Tumblr. Ever Jasper Fforde, which I don't consider a fandom behemoth, has a pretty large Tumblr following.

These were apparent as early as late 2010.
