(Anonymous) 2013-01-31 01:05 am (UTC)(link)that scene and the way he resolved it was the best choice he could have made. Period. You have no idea how relieved I was that there was no infidelity involved (which could have so easily happened in a lesser movie).
Really being tortured by unrequited feelings that you are desperately trying to control is like one of the most interesting plots to watch. And provides such delicious angst like whoa, what's there not to like? I'm seriously surprised by the negativity towards this movie.
Silly american stereotypes aside, that's like one of the best movies I've ever seem. Easily the best romcom.
