The Midwest does not exist. Chicago is a cute little island town with skyscrapers adrift in the middle of lake Michigan, which sits between New York and L.A. The only other thing is Florida, which contains beaches, Miami, Disney World, Cubans, and alligators. There's also Texas, but that's practically its own country anyway, and if you go there, you should bring a gun because Texas loves guns. Guns and high school football.

Brits can be just as fucking dumb and ignorant as Americans.

To be fair a number of Americans think this...That only the Coasts matter and the rest of the country is just something they see out of the window of an airplane as they fly over it.

I live in Missouri, and we didn't even get a shout-out in the country song, "Flyover States." Neither did Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, or either of the Dakotas, or Minnesota or Illinois. That's how much we don't exist. *facepalm*

I'm from Michigan. Worse, I live outside of Detroit. The only thing people ever say is " OMG! How do you not die? Because guns/gangs/murders and such!"
