it's a webcomic, a gory webcomic.
It has sadistic murder, attempted and implied rape, and horrific abuse.

Most of the fanbase I've come across IRL has been rather young...

I mean, kids have been watching incredibly violent movies and cartoons for decades. When I was in elementary school and middle school stuff like Nightmare on Elm Street and Mortal Kombat were insanely popular

I don't think that it's bad that kids read it.

I just think that the art style limiting the allowed audiences so severely is bullshit. the content is intended for adults, the form isn't as important.
