Iawtc & I love your icon btw. She assumes he doesn't like her because he never talks to her, but that's probably because he knows she would think he's a total creep if she found out how he feels about her. He did everything he could to make his best friend's wedding amazing, and did nothing, apart from being able to talk to her like a normal person, that warrants the label "nice guy". If he were an actual nice guy he'd probably told his friend something like, "You know those French girls, all sleeping behind your back, you don't want her, mate."

It wasn't the most comfortable storyline, it was obviously awkward for both of them, but Mark wasn't a horrible person about it.

Also, and this is for the OP, "nice guys" don't genuinely fall in love, they just amass fictional brownie points in their heads and imagine they are automatically entitled to poontang in exchange once they reach a certain level that only they are aware of. That was not what happened in LA at all.

Nah, I think some "Nice Guys" actually do fall in love, or at least get huge genuine crushes. Things would be a lot simpler if they never did. ("I need a girl to fill the VOID in my life and fix all my problems for me" is a related but separate syndrome.) It's just that they ALSO think that feelings on their part + "niceness", whatever they feel that means, on their part = them being entitled to reciprocation.
