Only in New Moon does she deliberately fuck herself up in order to see her Edward!adrenaline-hallucination. Otherwise she's just a danger magnet/clumsy-ass person.

The jumping off a cliff stuff in New Moon was definitely screwed up, but that seemed to be out of depression rather than an attempt to elicit a reaction from him (as she didn't think he'd ever find out.)

No, I mean.. there were times when she literally would do dangerous things so that she could force Edward to come and save her, and when she didn't and started hallucinating him telling her not to do dangerous things, she did them to get that hallucination instead. It wasn't "OMG I'M SO SAD BRB JUMPING OFF A CLIFF OUT OF DEPRESSION!". It was "I'M GOING TO PUT MYSELF IN HARM'S WAY SO THAT EDWARD COMES AND GIVES ME ATTENTION!".
