But if you say "my older brother" then wouldn't people naturally assume that it's someone who was always male? She didn't say anything about a trans person. What I'm saying is that, there's no way someone who was always a guy drew that...

The point is that trans* people were always that gender mentally, but they were brought up and born into the wrong one. So to answer your question: yes, that brother who was born into a girl's body and raised as a girl was always male.

IME referring to trans people by gender they identify with is the only appropriate and respectful way to do it, and it's natural for people to assume that because it's true.

And honestly confused here: do you not think men draw pretty/feminine/silly things?
