Freud may indeed have a field day with me, but it's quite the opposite of narcissism. A poor self image is a big part of the reason I couldn't have sex with anyone else. It would be purely out of necessity. I could only bear being exposed to myself, and my own judgement... I'm used to it.

Ah, another comment made me realize something that was pertinent to your comment. I consider myself very unattractive. Which is another part of why I couldn't have sex with anyone else. It's just that not being attracted to another me wouldn't make me hesitate at all. I'd still prefer sexing my unattractive self to taking a risk with the hottest person in the world. And I'd still do my doubles all the time. There's more to the experience than finding your partner visually appealing.
