Bureaucratic hiring practices
Of course it's now Feb, so I'm a little worried. I'm not really familiar with this particular government dept. bureaucratic procedures, but I figure it probably operates like any other bureaucracy.
Do these types usually notify people who get hired first, and then later send out rejections? Do they go through alphabetical order? I'm just twisting in the wind, and I wish I had even a little something to grab onto to figure it out. :(

(Anonymous) 2013-02-02 01:49 am (UTC)(link)if you've got an HR manager or some contact, you could send an email just asking about the status of your application. That should get you an idea of where they're at in heir process.
