Several years ago before I moved here I was completely head over heels infatuated with this guy who I kept seeing at parties at my sister's house (it was one of those sort of places where bands always played and huge parties were always thrown, etc.) Every time I saw him, I was like, completely possessed by him and couldn't stop lingering around him and following him around and I knew I was creeping him out but I literally couldn't stop. I think he sort of liked me -- as a friend at the very least -- but had some amount of social anxiety in the first place, and the fact that I was always following him around really freaked him out, so I was never able to really pursue anything there.

Anyway, it felt awful because I had recently gotten married at that point anyhow but all I could think about was being with this guy. His personality was just magnetic for some reason, he was negative and self-deprecating in the most attractive way and just FUNNY and just writing this makes me feel really bad :/
