Whether you meant to or not, this reads a lot like, "I don't care if people are gay, I just wish they'd stop advertising it." Which is basically saying you want us all to go crawl back into our hidey-hole where we came from because you don't like it.

I'm all for trans* visibility, so I'm going to advertise the fact that I'm trans* when I want to, and if that makes you uncomfortable, so fucking be it.

visible is cool.
