I feel like there's got to be a better superpower out there to solve this.

Only one I can think of is the power to be gorgeous and sexually desirable. My anxiety and other hangups might mostly go away, or be easily worked out, and the main problem of not being capable of having sex might be solved. Self-duplication would definitely help me out a lot, not just possibly. Though self-duplication still sounds more appealing in some ways... in the no-muss, no-fuss department, chiefly. Sex without consequences, whenever you want, however you want. But the power of gorgeousness would have many advantages, too. If I didn't have social anxiety, having sex with other people might often appeal more than always having sex with doubles.

Tough call. But I don't think of gorgeousness as a power, in the sense that it's a thing that exists without being a superpower.

No offense, but I don't think your self perception can be trusted.

I'm pretty sure even if you were gorgeous that in and of itself wouldn't fix everything. Your negative self-image wouldn't be magically fixed, nor your social anxiety.

Might help, but there'd be more to do.

I think however, and I won't start a life advice thing here, but by the same logic, you are almost certainly not the utterly undesirable individual you make yourself out to be.

Yeah, I understand that being gorgeous wouldn't fix everything; I was careful to say that it "might" help me. I also know my perception is very skewed, but these sorts of issues persist despite a person intellectually knowing better. It's irrational, but it's real, and it's crippled me.
