I like Steve. And Kono and Chin. And I like the Steve/Danny interaction whenever Danny isn't pissing me off.

Honestly though, I used to look at people complaining about how much they hate Supernatural and Doctor Who and not understand why someone would keep watching a show they'd stopped liking, and then it happened to me. I can't explain exactly why I keep watching, but part of it is clinging to some insane hope that it will actually stop sucking somehow.

Yeah... I've inertia'd some shows and had them improve on me (I'm looking at you Bones) but I don't think this is going to do that. Danny is pretty consistent, and he is a major character who is going to show up every episode doing his schtick.

I suppose it depends, if there really isn't enough going on on TV to divert you, Hawaii 5-0 is better than nothing. But really, I watch it mainly for the character dynamic, because that's really it's strong suit. The plots are really utterly absurd and stupidly illegal. It seems to me that the CSI or NCIS shows fill the same basic plot niche and might have a more fun character dynamic.
