I did enjoy this game, although I was disheartened when I realized it was mostly a straight-forward dungeon crawler. Nothing wrong with enjoying someone poke at a game/book/movie, while still enjoying the actual game/book/movie.

Look at it this way, more people have heard of the game now. People might look at it and decide to try it. Who knows? The concept is interesting enough that for some, it might override the bad gameplay.

... Back on topic, no worries secret-person. I like the game in itself, and I also like the writing of the LP too. Yeah it pokes fun at it, but hey, that's part of fandoms.

Yup, Waft, and this one's Kite, I believe. I have only played Dark Dawn, but I adore the Djinn designs <3.

Ooh, I'd definitely recommend playing the other ones. I remember the original Golden Sun was our family's first ever GBA game. My siblings and I had arguments over whose turn it was to play for months. Sometimes I used to wake up an extra 20 min early, just so I could squeeze in a bit of gameplay before the school bus came.

That sounds adorable, and I'd actually loom over to watch my cousin play the first two games when I was younger. I do have a Gameboy SP gathering dust in a corner, hehe. Time to search for Golden Suns, because I doubt that cousin still has them.

Avalon Code secret! ♥ I'll take your word that the LPer did a good job of the rewrite (haven't read it myself) but I guess I just don't fully understand the appeal of something like that, haha. It's not a perfect game by any means, but it has so much charm just the way it is.
