(Anonymous) 2013-02-05 01:02 am (UTC)(link)It's not part of the culture in my country but I not only take my shoes off at the door (and wear indoor shoes most of the time), I refuse to let in someone with shoes.
But then the floor is covered with a white carpet. It's already a pain even if I'm careful, but it'll be worse if anyone were to step on it with their outdoor shoes, so...
