I'm glad that you understand what OP is going through, but please do not assume that your being male somehow makes your situation more difficult than for females in the same situation.

But...it kind of does? In general, the way society* treats men and sex is very different from the way society treats women and sex. More people see men who don't have lots of sex as weird and women who don't have sex as careful, pure, or self-confident. Where as women who have lots of sex are slutty sluts with daddy issues and no self-worth.

*All US based.

No, it depends on your age. At 15, maybe. At the age of anon male... not anymore. A 30-yrs old woman who never speaks about her boyfriend or shows up with one is either considered as a closeted lesbian or someone who has issues.

Don't assume that OP's being female makes her situation more difficult than this guy's either. I (woman) am getting really sick of this "you can't understand a trouble the same way and it must not be as hard if you don't fit into a certain demographic." Also, of the single men and single women I know who're past their twenties, the women are generally treated way better than the men, like "You just haven't found the right one yet, you'll find a man to make you happy yet!" whereas the men get side-eyed and people whisper about how weird they are.
