HECK YES JOSH LYMAN. (I love the episode your icon's from. Then again, that's true about most West Wing icons.)

Not exactly OT but, I am actually this close to trying to start up a West Wing ficathon/big bang or something now that it's on Netflix and people are watching it. There is not nearly enough post-series fic for my liking, damn it.

Oh my god YOU SHOULD TOTALLY DO IT!!! I'll volunteer to help if you want, although I have no idea how to go about these things. I generally don't care that much about post-series fic because I hate seasons 5-7 and wish they never happened, but if it gets the fandom going I'd be all for it! The show has some of the best fanfic I've ever read, but it's all so ooooollld...

Oh I totally agree re: 5-7, it's just that I view the next administration as an opportunity to smack the reset button in a few ways. I'd equally go for some S2-S3 fic guhh anything really. I can only read the same handful of Donna/Josh/Sam/Toby/CJ matchups so many times, right?

I'm totally gonna look into it, contact the people over at west_wing_fans, maybe poke what fandom there is on Tumblr... I'll definitely post around here about it if it shakes out!

Oh yeah, TWW has a disappointing lack of "nextgen" fic, as it were. And I'm so glad to hear that! I hope the ball gets rolling :)

Like, it's probably the light from the laptop just shining through the drink but it looks just like you'd expect a glow-in-the-dark drink to look and it's awesome.
