I will admit his writing of female characters isn't flawless but I like that the women are pretty much the major players of both seasons. Additionally, he doesn't try to gloss over the damage that the men in their lives to do them and instead shows how that damage can have a lasting impact.

I personally feel like he can only get better because the writing seemed to be a lot stronger in season 2 than in season 1. Lana Winters may or may not be one of my favorite characters of all time.

RIGHT?? Me too. She's awful in so many ways but she's also really incredible, especially considering the time.
