Slow GC today. People off having lives and what not.

I AM TRAPPED BY THE SNOW! But oh well I have episodes of Classic Who I'm watching. I have met Doctors 1, 2 and 3 and I adore them all!!!!! They're awesome. :) And I have the DVD of very first episodes too! I hadn't realized just how different things were back in the beginning before the Doctor actually actively started helping humans. He's actually kind of mean! But sort of not.

Ooooh I love seeing new series fans get familiarized with Classic Who! If you're interested, tell me: what are your opinions of Ian and Barbara and their influence on the Doctor's character development and M.O.?

So far I've watched "An Unearthly Child" and "The Aztecs." and it's a little weird how different the characters are between the two serials even though Aztecs is only 5 serials later. I hadn't known that the Doctor essentially kidnapped Ian and Barbara from their own time because he wouldn't let them just leave (and his reasons seemed pretty weak). It also didn't help that Ian bugged the hell out of me with his almost constant disbelief until the truth smacked him in the face, so I spent much of the serial annoyed with him. I definitely need to watch the rest of the DVD I have (it has the first three serials) to get a better understanding of how they start changing their opinions of each other as almost feels like there's too much of a difference.

Either way "An Unearthly Child" was awesome, and it didn't even matter that it was from the 60s. It was a lot of fun. I've been feeling the same way about the others I've watched to. Not to mention having also just watched "Spearhead from Space" I think the Autons in that episode were scarier and more convincing than the ones in the "Rose."

I'm here, I'm just in a shitty mood.

Yep, that's me! It was the pretty Armitage gifs, right?

Just finished the first season earlier and would definitely recommend it. It's a beautifully shot, high quality program and Armitage is fantastic (as well as, as you've seen, insanely attractive). It's not for the easily disturbed though, but it's only six episodes long and well worth the time, imo.

Well it's kind of early, and also trapped by the snoooooooooooooooow. Luckily I have not lost power, but I know a lot of people have off and on.
