Okay, we all giggle at them and roll our eyes at how melodramatic they can be, but come clean: there are some sad fandom-related tumblr posts that really do punch you in the gut and make you want to reblog with silly melodramatic comments. I don't know if this qualifies but I went to see Les Mis, didn't cry a bit, then I come home and see a GIF set of Giles and Buffy and oh the tears. So many tears.

Holy crap, thank god the last description about the caterpillar's life cycle is there. Even if it sounds kind of weird, I'm choosing to believe that it's 100% true and that the caterpillar will have happy dreams all winter long. That cartoon nearly incapacitated me.

That explanation is all well and good until you consider that the comic depicts the caterpillar falling asleep on the sidewalk. So, not so much happy dreams all winter as happy dreams until s/he gets stepped on.
