If you're using an academic database (which I recommend, if you've got access), I think the search term might be "men having sex with men," or something along those lines. I did a bit of poking into the subject for something related, and I get the impression that this is either a predominantly male phenomenon or science is just being sexist again and hasn't gotten around to studying women with the same proclivities. There are articles on it, I'm pretty sure, you just have to dig a bit.

I can only speak for history, but it's often a lot more difficult to find evidence of women having sex with women than men having sex with men.

Sometimes academe isn't sexist; it's the records we're stuck working with that are.

Given the way the country flipped its collective shit when Kinsey did his study on women, I'm not surprised there haven't been more studies focusing on them.
