Re: WARNING: TMI FOREVER
(Anonymous) 2013-02-10 07:55 am (UTC)(link)I've taking Venlafaxine for a while now and apparently the effect wears off over time, which is why I had to take higher and higher doses of it. I think I've been on it for such a long time that even withdrawal symptoms of taking it slightly off schedule doesn't affect me anymore. Although, food for though, I'm on the generic Ratio-Venlafaxine, not Effexor XR. When my drugstore accidentally switched me to Teva-Venlafaxine I felt something was wrong (and awful!), and had to switch back to the Ratio generic brand.
As for the vivid dreams, that was a side-effect I rather liked. My dreams have become long and movie-like; it's all very entertaining. It's also become somewhat lucid now. As a creative-type, I appreciate being able to shape my dreams, ha ha.
