Speaking of notes (not) helping, I can't stop laughing at the recent trend of "I'll write down all URLs and show them to someone" posts. Or other stuff that's about reaching a certain amount of notes, or writing down notes. As another post put it, I'm totally sure their dad's homophobia will be cured when they see that Superwholock221B disagrees with his views.

Another problem is that those posts aren't always legit. I remember some time ago, a post about a trans*person who was beaten to death was passed around... but then the person replied. Or was it a photo of someone who had allegedly bullied someone, but then they turned out to be an activist. I don't really remember what it was, but misinformation was spread and people were hurt as a result.
