Yeah I was kind of wondering that too. Like, I could see how you would make the argument for Rei being the ideal woman, but I would think more along the lines of "strong, fierce and graceful" than "red, skirt, high heels."

Yeah, I love Rei, but saying "she is my ideal woman because of all these common things based purely on physical attraction..." I mean, I'm pretty sure there are tons of other girls out there who are hot and look good in skirts, high heels, and the colour red.
