10. Though I never really got interested in Harry Potter, I do agree with your point here. I love anime and manga, but sometimes it is annoying when a series goes on for 439023432 episodes/chapters and nothing happens. The problem, however, is that I don't think a lot fans really want an ending. If there's an ending and the romantic relationships are finalized, etc., nobody has anything to write fanfiction about unless it's AU and "not canon." Hence the HP wank after DH.

15. I love Ganju too! I was kind of disappointed when I checked out the fandom and nobody had as much interest in him as I had hoped. Secretly I pair him with Ichigo - it's not my OTP, but I like the dynamic there. (And I'm glad that someone is as scared of sexual pain as I am. I love thinking about sex but I think my virgin self would run if anyone actually offered.)

26. I'm not familiar with the series, but I do like it when the plot does something unexpected at the end, like when a beloved character dies, or characters are forever separated, or when the villain is someone unexpected. It brings a touch of realism and depth to the series that otherwise wouldn't be there if the series was predictable.

29. Welcome to what was my world for a long time. Don't worry, there are a lot of people who admire manga and anime and don't get involved in fandom, or don't have an urge to. To be honest, I always wished that fandom had more serious discussion about characters, the plotlines, and ongoing themes. Some of these series (Fullmetal Alchemist, as an example) are very complicated, but all the fandom basically offers is wank and random!buttsex. Which... okay sometimes I do like my buttsex, but sometimes I want intelligent discussions, dammit! Basically, I feel for you.

29 - I've found that discussions on plot and characters can get very very creative, actually. Especially since a lot of the series I watch are full of symbolism (Laim, Boogiepop Phantom, etc) so it's pretty fun to talk about what everything means, what it could point to, why the characters react to it the way they do.
I wish I could find a comm for intelligent fandom debates and discussion. And if it doesn't exist, I'll make one, dammit!

They've got chemistry, he and Ichigo. Like...pals but... I can see it happening :>

I'd most likely run, too...or faint... or something not really helpful to the situation when it finally comes around x_x; Glad to see I'm not alone on that!!!
