"Count Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums"

not actually sure how popular this song is, so I don't know if it's "weird" or not, but I've never meet anyone who liked it.

Also, Eminem's "Beautiful". I'm not normally a fan of rap, but this song works for me.

I love "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums"! In-case you didn't know: A Perfect Circle also has a slower version of the song called "Pet" on their "Thirteenth Step" album that is equally as awesome you should check out. :D

Actually, Pet is not a slower version of that song. CBLSttRotWD is the "second half" of Pet according to Maynard. It's lyrically and melodically different, as well.

Huh...did not know that. Melodically they're obviously different, but what do you mean my lyrically? They seem the same to me, just sung with a different intensity, or is that what you meant?

Really? That was APC's second best selling/charting record. It's not exactly obscure. You don't get any hipster cred for knowing about it, nonnie.

I wasn't looking for hipster cred, and I'm sorry if that seemed like the case! I just don't really know of anyone IRL who knows that song, and that's more how I judge if something is weird/obscure then looking at the charts? Because even if it's really high on the charts, if no one in my RL listens to it, it still feels weird/obscure to me. ^^;
